The Lacquer Files: Eyeko

Good afternoon all! I'm glad the weekend started for me and I'm really looking forward to relaxing. Yesterday I already did some relaxing - tanning and swimming - but the weekend is always something different. It has some kind of different vibe? I don't know how to explain.

A while back I ordered polishes from Eyeko and they're all really nice. The one I'm showing you today is the Indigo Polish for Sultry Nails.

Indigo Polish is a dark blue shimmer. I have nothing else to say about it, it's just what it is. There are a lot of blue shimmers in this world and this one is pretty nice but certainly not unique.

I needed two coats to reach opaqueness and applying it was fine. Eyeko polishes are somewhat thicker but because they're well pigmented I can't be bothered that much. Besides, we can always use our best friend the polish thinner!

You can buy Indigo Polish on the Eyeko website for €4.00 but pay attention to the sets they're also selling: it's cheaper and the sets are nice.

I have it too, but personally i like OPI's Yoga-ta Get This Blue better :)

prachtige kleur! OPI is zo duur, dus misschien koop ik deze wel :)

Deze is inderdaad wat goedkoper, helemaal als je een setje met lakjes koopt. Als je ooit besluit om op TransDesign te bestellen kun je de OPI goedkoper halen, of bijvoorbeeld een keertje kijken op eBay, valt vaak ook nog wel mee. :-)

I do believe it was the first polish I got that was, in a way, following in the footsteps of Blue Satin.

You're right, it kind of does! I think this one is prettier than Blue Satin but that's more because Blue Satin looks mostly black to me. >:[

Oh, I really like this polish. The shimmer is so beautiful in sunlight. Now, if we'd get any sun, I'd wear it again! ;)

What really sells it for tEyeko is their darling bottles. If it weren't for the cute labels I don't think anyone would be too impressed!

I agree, the colours aren't super unique but the bottles are. They're adorable!

I thought I already replied to your comment but apparently not? Hmm, Intense Debate has issues I guess. But you're right, the bottles are adorable and make the not that unique polish a whole more unique. ;-)
